My manuscript is bumping along with the rest of the mail, finding it's way to the SCBWI headquarters.
My goal is met.
Kind of.
Turns out I missed the "postmarked" deadline by 1 day. Somehow I confused deadline date, thinking it was the 15th instead of the 5th.
So when my hefty manila envelope arrives there's a good chance no one will open it.
I spent most of the day mentally reprimanding myself, and then came back around to this simple truth.
Do better.
Really dedicate the time. Really prioritize this dream.
I can do that.
