Every person, every experience in my life has shaped me into who I am now.
Today my baby boy and I attended a "Going Away" party for a former boss.
When we arrived at the clinic I felt overwhelmed; I saw many co-workers who I hadn't seen in years. Every time I turned around I caught a smile on a familiar face.
Over the past few years many of us started or added to our families and I loved hearing updates and sharing my own.
After the last hug goodbye, I snuggled my son in his pack, grabbed the diaper bag and headed out to the parking lot. When I drove away I realized how lucky I am to have those wonderful people as part of my history.
