Being with my husband and my mild-mannered son
Eating a full dinner
Befriending a kind woman and her newborn
Having a sense of humor
Having enough formula, diapers and binkies
Wearing sensible shoes
Accessing the elevators and being at the front of a 3,000 person line
Finding a clean cup
That's how I survived being trapped in Newark airport for almost 9 hours:)
Flying with an extra empty seat for stretching out.
That's how I survived the 5 hour flight home.
And we were the lucky ones. To think that most passengers waited on line for hours only to be told at the gate that the flight departed without them or that the flight was cancelled.
