The Littlest Pirate

At the Home Town Fair the bounce houses are a big hit. Five or Six line the edge of the fair. They are free admission and the kids stand in line for ages waiting for their turn.

This year, Oscar is big enough to go into the giant Pirate ship alone.

Before the attendant lifts him up, he turns to my husband and says, "I am going to climb to the top and yell "RRRRRRR"!

Which he subsequently does. No small feat considering the mayhem he climbs over and under to reach the top:)

The children bounce and fall and climb for an allotted 4 minutes. Then the attendant gently coaxes them out.

My husband stands by to help Oscar climb down. He overhears Oscar telling the other kids to "WALK THE PLANK"!

O' it's the life of a pirate for Oscar;)
