2012
Our town turns 100 this year and our oldest son Oscar turned
3.
On Oscar's birthday we walked in a community parade to celebrate both
milestones:)
We walked as part of the library float.
That morning we
woke early, packed up sunblock and snacks and headed to the starting
point.
My husband dropped us off.
While we signed in and decorated the
strollers with balloons, my husband drove the car to the end of the
parade route to park.
Then he walked the mile back to meet us, so that
we could all walk together.
We waved to neighbors and friends.
We pet
police horses and "oohed and "aahed" over antique cars.
The weather was
perfect.
So many things made me smile, my husband's kindness most of
all.
