A House Tour

Make no mistake, rascals live here.

What is that man doing?

That's just daddy doing "baby curls" and "baby push ups", his typical workout.

Who just skipped by?

Our toddler. He leaps from every bath, howling with laughter and scampering around the house naked while he streaks his stuffed animals.

You've got to be quick to notice all the fun.

See how the baby kicks up his legs and whips his head like a fan at a tennis match when he sees his brother bounding across the room.

What's cooking in the kitchen you say?

A mother and her 2 year old sous chef. He cracks eggs in pancakes, scoops sugar for cookies and breaks apart mushrooms for omelettes.

Don't mind the pieces of egg carton on the floor, those are simply tiny garbage cans for the world's smallest sanitation worker.

That blanket over there is named CeeCee and she is more important than anything you or I own. Just leave her resting in the sunbeam, she'll be scooped up soon enough.

Yes the 2 year old is singing "Rock Lobster". Don't you love the B-52's?

Yes the baby soothes to the sound of Natalie Merchant. Or raspberry sounds like Donald Duck, take your pick.

No the daddy isn't a fashionista. He's just changed his shirt 4 times because the baby likes to spit up on him.

No monkeys don't fly, but if you throw a stuffed animal up high enough it sure looks like they can....

Stay awhile.

If it rains we'll set up the ball pit in the living room

Or have a family cuddle in the master bedroom while we read mountains of books.

Or play hide-and-seek (yes there are only 2 bedrooms but that's why God gave us our imaginations:)

Best of all, around 4:00 we'll take our daily nap. Yep, all of us. Even the cats.

Must be well rested before the evening begins. You never know what those rascals will be up too.
