We have a baby toy that both my boys love. Drop a frog toy down a tube. On the way down it let's out a whistle. Push a button at the bottom and the frog slides out. Rinse, repeat;)
When Oscar was 1 year old he tired of standing to drop the frog and crouching to push the button to release him. His solution- stand and drop the frog. Step on the button and swipe him up while still standing.
Jesse is just 1 now. He spent a few minutes with the toy. He understood the gist of it- drop frog, push button, drop frog again. He loved to hear the frog whistle, but seemed to tire of the routine. So he studied the frog. Then he put it In his mouth and blew. Low and behold, it whistled. Delighted, he walked around the house whistling with the frog.
We think they are both geniuses.
