This morning the Madrona Marsh was a relaxing backdrop for creative reflection.
Under a shady tree, surrounded by tall dry grass and bright sunny flowers, I scribbled away in my notebook.
While I left the harvester ants and garter snakes to themselves, I did enjoy the company of other writers.
Just acknowledging my dreams of writing to a group of strangers was lovely.
Hearing about their works-in-progress inspired me.
I realized that I've come a long way *and* that I have a long way to go!
