Recently, my husband changed our screen-saver to a slideshow of family pictures from the past year.
Sometimes I catch myself just standing in the middle of the room and watching.
Remembering each moment, I re-visit the happy feelings of holidays, baby's "firsts", and simple pleasures of everyday life.
I never liked looking at pictures of myself. I could always find a flaw.
Now, I notice how happy I look in the photos.
My husband and son elicit an easy bright smile from me.
I'm learning that real love doesn't need more make-up or better lighting;)
